Chapter 01
A door that won't lock right is rarely the lock's fault
Doors opened and unlocked is the single most common residential call A Better Locksmith takes, and most of the time the lock itself is fine. Manufacturer warranties are honored on anything installed here, so a deadbolt that fails under warranty is handled as a warranty claim, not a fresh invoice.

Re-keying the day you get the keys
Moving into a house means inheriting every copy of every key that was ever cut for it, with no way to know how many that is. Re-keying the locks to a single new key closes that question without buying new hardware, and it's usually the first call a new homeowner in Pawtucket makes.
